Community Food Bank trip planned for Oct. 12

St. Mary’s Parish will lead a service trip to the Community Food Bank in Hillside on Saturday, Oct. 12. The carpool leaves the St. Mary’s parking lot at 7:45 a.m. The cars should return by noon. Consider helping out at the food bank. The work includes boxing and sorting the many donations received by the Community Food Bank.

Mission Appeal Scheduled for Sept. 14-15

On Sept. 14-15, Sr. Mary Beth Lloyd from the Religious Teachers Filippini (M.P.F.), will be with us to preach for our annual Mission Appeal. Each year, we welcome a member of a religious community who has worked in mission territories and who is here to ask our prayers and financial support. She has been in several mission countries and has personally seen their needs. Your support will help the kids, the poor, the crippled, and the diseased from Africa, Ethiopia and Brazil.
Your support is always appreciated and very much needed.
