Many countries, including the United States, are considering military options. Pope Francis has designated this Saturday, Sept. 7, as a day of fasting and prayer.
In Rome the Holy Father will lead a prayer vigil from 7 p.m. to midnight (Rome time). He has asked the world to join him.
The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (usccb.org) has suggested that in addition to prayer we can take action. Click on this link.
The entire text of the Pope’s message can be found by clicking here. We can join in solidarity with Catholics and others around the world who have committed to pray for peace. A prayer service for your use is here.
