Daily Mass Update

The upper church will open for daily masses starting on Monday June 15th at our regular mass times of 7AM and 8:45AM. Please sit only in designated pews and members of the same household  (immediate family members) only should sit together. Please avoid the blocked off areas at the center of the pews. The church will remain open following masses until 2PM for personal prayer.

You must use hand sanitizer, available at the doors, when you enter the church and you must wear a face mask. Please minimize the surfaces you touch while in church, use hand sanitizer as you exit and leave nothing behind. The doors will be propped open so that you can avoid touching  additional surfaces.

If you are sick or have been in contact with someone who is, please do not visit the church until 14 days have elapsed.

The Archdiocese of Newark has announced protocols for mass attendance. We ask that you view the video linked below.

Some updates on prayer and confession . . .

As we struggle to get back to some sense of normalcy, the staff of St. Mary’s has found a way to provide the Sacrament of Reconciliation that protects both the priest and the penitent with appropriate social distancing. Please note that our procedure will provide confession face-to-face and will be by appointment only. You do NOT have to provide your name to come for confession.

To arrange a time for confession, please call our emergency cell phone number at 201-696-2819. This is also the number to call if you have any sacramental emergency.

The church will be open for private prayer today, May 17th from 12-3PM. You can enter from the door next to the lift, which is near the rectory.

Please use hand sanitizer upon entering, wear a face mask and keep socially distant. We ask that no groups come to pray together in the church.
Beginning on Monday May 18th, the church will be open daily from 12-2 for private prayer seven days a week.

If you are sick, we ask that you not enter the church and continue to pray from home.

Please continue to pray for us, as we continue to pray for you.
