Thank you for your help . . .

Our heartfelt thanks to all who donated food to the Dumont and St. Mary’s food pantries on Saturday May 16th. The cars started lining up at 9:45 and the results were a great indicator of the spirit of those who have, giving to those who need. We will have more details soon, but you stepped up to help your neighbors. Thank you!

Our recent call for help in support of St. Cecelia’s Office of Concern concluded with the collection of over 3,000 diapers and over 1,200 wipes. They were very appreciative of our parish’s efforts.

Food Drive Announcement

To replenish the food pantries of St. Mary’s and Dumont’s Food Pantry and help our neighbors in need, St. Mary’s Church will be hosting a food drive on Saturday, May 16th between the hours of 10AM and 12PM at St. Mary’s Church, 280 Washington Ave, Dumont.

Strict social distancing guidelines must be adhered to. Therefore, please abide by the following drop off procedures: Please enter the St. Mary’s parking lot from Washington Avenue, follow the driveway around the back of the church and then to the area between the church and the rectory. It is preferable that the driver be the only person in the car and wearing a mask. All donated food must be non-perishable and be in a bag with handles. The bag should be placed in the back seat on the passenger side or in the trunk if the trunk can be opened from inside of the car. The driver is not to exit the car. A volunteer will take the food from the car. We thank everyone in advance for your generosity and for following the social distancing guidelines.

We are #Alonetogether.
