Advent Giving Tree

Through the generosity of many St. Mary’s parishioners, we are able to share joy with many families and individuals in need. This year, we will again partner with the Dumont Department of Human Services and the Nurturing Place (formerly The York  Street Project) in Jersey City to provide gifts to those in need. Our Advent Giving Tree Tags are now available. We invite you to please get a gift tag (or tags) and purchase the item that’s being requested. Unwrapped Gifts must be returned by Wednesday, Dec. 13th. For questions, please call Josie Parrella at 201-387-0786.

Thanksgiving Baskets

It is time to start collecting food for Thanksgiving Baskets.  We ask that if everyone brings one or two items between now and when we distribute the baskets on Nov. 17th, we will be able to fill the baskets.  Most of all, if anyone can contribute a frozen TURKEY or HAM please do so.  Turkey or Ham can be brought to the Rectory and we will store them in our freezers.  Thanks again for your kind generosity.  Let’s help our neighbors so they will have a bountiful Thanksgiving.

Details on what we need can be found in the bulletin.
