Service at the Community Food Bank
On Saturday, October 11th, St. Mary’s will once again volunteer at the Community Food Bank of New Jersey in Hillside. We will car pool from St. Mary’s, meeting at 7:30AM and return by noon. Consider giving up a Saturday morning to help those in need. Sign-ups in advance are required; contact Deacon John at deaconjohn@stmarysdumont.org. Due to the food bank’s insurance regulations, no one under 12 is permitted in the warehouse.
Celebrating our 100th Anniversary
We have ornaments and mementos available.
A red glass ornament with gold lettering and artwork featuring the “Little White Church” on one side and our current church on the other is only $7.
And unique hand-crafted art created especially for our parish of the “Little White Church” our current church and the statue of the Assumption.
Each piece is approximately 1 1/2” deep and 6 “ high. They’re only $22 each or you can get the entire set for $60.

Feast of St. Mary of the Assumption
In honor of the feast of our Patroness, St. Mary of the Assumption, we will have a 9-day novena beginning on Wednesday August 6th, following the 8:45AM Mass. The Novena will continue until August 14th. Over the weekend of August 9-10th, the novena will be prayed after the 8:30AM Mass on Saturday, and following the 10AM Mass on Sunday.
On Friday, August 15th, Mass will be at 7AM, 8:45AM and 7:30PM.
At 7:15PM, we will dedicate the new prayer garden, located behind the rectory, and following the 7:30 p.m. mass, we will have an ice cream social. Please call the parish office to let us know if you’re planning to attend.
