Mardi Gras dinner-dance set for March 1
St. Mary’s, Dumont, will host a Mardi Gras dinner-dance Saturday, March 1. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Dinner and dancing go from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets (for adults 21 and over) are $20 per person. Proceeds are for St. Mary’s centennial events.
The event is BYOB, and there will be a Mardi Gras mask contest. Expect a tricky tray and 50/50, so bring extra cash. Tickets are on sale at the parish office. No tickets sold at the door.
Concert to benefit victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines
Join the Riverside Guitar Duo at St. Mary’s Church on Sunday, January 26 for a fun afternoon of classical guitar music. The concert starts at 3:00 PM in the lower church and tickets are $10.00. All proceeds from ticket sales and additional funds raised will be donated through the American Red Cross to benefit victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. REMINDER: Church painting to begin
For the next couple of weeks starting Monday, Jan. 13th, the upper church will be closed to start Stage 1 of the painting of the church. We will re-open and then finish the project at a later date.
